Andrea is a fourth-year honors student at UCLA, double majoring in Political Science and Chicana and Chicano Studies (GPA 3.96).

As an intern at Larhdel Law, Andrea assists Attorney Lara with casework, conducts initial intake consultations, helps maintain client relationships, and sits in on client meetings where she provides detailed notes and follow-ups.

As a first-generation college student born and raised at the U.S.-Mexico border, she brings a cross-cultural lens to her work in the legal field. Andrea is fluent in Spanish and has international work experience from her role at Labo Playas in Tijuana, Mexico where she managed sensitive patient records.

Andrea is deeply committed to mentorship and educational equity. She serves as an Advising Fellow with Matriculate, guiding high-achieving, low-income high school students through the college application and financial aid process. She also supports student development as an Office Assistant with UCLA’s Geffen Academy and as a Resident Assistant with UCLA Residential Life, where she fosters inclusive communities, resolves roommate conflicts, and connects students with essential university resources.

Andrea is also an active member of the Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law Fraternity, where she serves as Publicity Chair. She is skilled in Canva design software which she uses to design and coordinate marketing campaigns, create digital graphics, and leverage social media analytics to enhance the fraternity’s outreach and recruitment efforts.

Andrea brings a blend of communication, research, and technical skills. Passionate about equity and advocacy, Andrea aspires to a legal career that supports diverse clients and drives social impact, with the goal of working internationally to advance access to justice across borders.
