Alina is a fourth-year honors student at UCLA, majoring in Comparative Literature. As an intern at Larhdel Law, Alina conducts initial intake consultations and helps maintain client relationships. As well as assisting Attorney Lara with casework and sits in on client meetings where she provides detailed notes and follow-ups. As a US college student, born in Russia and raised in China, she brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to her work with clients and the legal field. Alina is fluent in Chinese and conversational in Russia. She also has international work experience as a former intern at a global marketing firm in China, where she managed client relations and participated in market research. Alina has spoken at research conferences, where she has presented audiences with her work on Eastern European literature. Alina is also currently working on her honors thesis focused on in-depth research into writing as a device in differing political contexts. Alina brings a unique blend of cross-cultural understanding, communication and commitment. Passionate about the field of law amidst a globalizing world, Alina aspires to a legal career that connects diverse clients with diverse solutions.
